Caspar grew up in Norfolk playing football, cricket and squash consequently getting injured a lot which led him to develop a keen interest in injury rehabilitation and then study Osteopathy. Caspar graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2017 gaining a merit grade in the Master of Osteopathy degree. Caspar’s dissertation discussed different osteopathic treatment and the effects on chronic pain and mood.

Caspar has worked across clinics in London and Greater Manchester before moving to Edinburgh in 2022. Working within multiple clinics helped Caspar develop further knowledge and understanding of complex chronic pain management to help his patients with long standing injuries.

Caspar’s treatment style involves joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue massage, myofascial release techniques. Also focusing on self-management to help with injury prevention and understanding the things that can help and the things to avoid within your specific injury. He has further training in sports taping, dry needling with acupuncture points and exercise-based rehabilitation techniques for strength and conditioning.

Caspar enjoys playing padel tennis and running in his spare time, completing the Edinburgh half marathon three times and hopes to push himself with his first marathon next year.

He is a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council, a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and the Academy of Physical Medicine.
