Edinburgh Fall Prevention

With aging, the risk of falling becomes increasingly greater. 1 in 3 people over 65 will have a fall at least once a year. Falling is one of the main reasons for trips to the Emergency room, and hospital admission.

Falling can cause other acute injuries, so the prevention of falling is very important.

Vision and hearing loss affects your balance, resulting in greater risk of falling.

Physical assessment

Supported by cutting-edge technology, supplied by Valid Health, we can determine your risk of falling. By measuring and comparing the strength of one leg with the other, and measuring your balance, we can predict your risk of falling. This will inform our plan for preventing your falls.
