The standing lumbar extension is a great exercise to perform at home or in your workplace and is great for people who sit for long periods. Set an alarm to go over every few hours, stand up and do this wonderful stretch. Then walk around for a little bit before sitting down again – its a great way to keep yourself moving.
Standing lumbar extension
1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart
2. Put your hands on the back of your hips.
3. Arch your back backwards.
4. Hold for 3 seconds
