By the time people come to see me they are usually in a great deal of pain and I spend a great deal of time helping them through it. Sometimes it is self inflicted because of bad posture, and a lack of exercise – other times it is just pure bad luck because of a car injury.
In the first case it is preventable. You can avoid ever having to seek out an osteopath for chronic back pain if you just take some time out to strengthen your back while it is still healthy. Yes, you put together exercises for back pain and help yourself get better – but ultimately, not having pain in the first place is a better option.
