In September 2010 five Active-x staff members and two patients took part in the 2010 Artemis Highland 100 challenge to raise money for Cancer UK and the Children’s Hospice Association (CHAS)
The challenge includes a stunning cycle route that takes you through some of the most historic areas of Scottish Highlands.
WE raised nearly £4000 with our wonderful team of 7 people and although it poured with rain for the first 4 hours it dried up in the afternoon and we enjoyed glorious weather to finish the day. Only one small injury when I went over my handlebars, but thank goodness for helmets, because I managed to crack mine!
A great event and well worth taking part in – now that the 2010 Artemis Highlands 100 is over will be looking out for the 2011 event!
