The best cure for back pain is physical activity but before undertaking any kind of activity make sure you speak to a professional first. We have pilates classes due to start this week and pilates is a great exercise for helping to strengthen your whole body. I want to encourage you to consider taking up some kind of regular physical activity even if the only thing you can do right now is take a brisk walk.

The most effective course of action in my opinion is ample rest in addition to the right sort of stretches.
